Welcome to Bleach: Age of Heroes! 62f6c102babe3d11bded5626528d368c

Hello and welcome to Bleach: Age of Heroes! Please read the following information carefully, as it will help you enjoy your time here at BAoH.

Information and Rules

Purpose: The purpose of Bleach: Age of Heroes is first and foremost to have FUN in a collaborative role-play experience. Point. Period. End. Even though there is plenty of CRP (combat role-play) to be had, this is not the community for egos. What’s most important to us is your writing ability and your ability to tell a story within a shared setting. You’re encouraged to seek glory for your character, but don’t make the mistake to think that your in-character exploits are somehow a reflection of you in real life.

Respect: Respect all members of the community. There is no place for flaming, insulting, sexually harassing, or otherwise harming other members. This is a no-nonsense policy, and offenders will receive one and only one warning. If the behavior continues, you will be banned.

Combat: The combat is turn-based, where combatants take turns attacking and defending. The two most important aspects of this type of combat are the adherence to the fights’ timelines, and subsequently, ensuring that the flow of combat is maintained. No one is perfect and we are always learning, so keep an open mind and be willing to listen.

Combat Judgment: If you have a combat dispute, please attempt to resolve the issue privately with your opponent first. If no resolution can be found between you and your opponent, bring it to the attention of a Combat Judge. A Combat Judge’s decision is final.

Death: Character death is real and can happen at any time, at your opponent’s discretion. It’s understandable that you don’t want your character to die, but look at the silver-lining: character death enriches the setting by creating history, boosting other characters, and providing you with an opportunity to create a new concept. Learn to embrace death.

Cheating: There is no place for god-modding and/or metagaming. You only get one warning and if the behavior repeats and/or continues, you will be banned from the role-play.

Character Creation: BAoH will launch with only one playable race: Shinigami. You are welcome to create a Shinigami, who will function as your “primary” character. Once new races are introduced, you will be able to create a character of that respective race.

Shinigami Creation Guidelines

When creating a Shinigami, please adhere to the following guidelines:
  • Shinigami are thematically Japanese (name, culture, history, ect).
  • Be weary of your character’s age. Don’t make them 2000 years old, be reasonable, since you will have to explain what they’ve been doing historically within the established lore.
  • A new Shinigami RPC cannot begin as Captain. Captaincy must be achieved in-character through any of one these three means.
  • A new Shinigami RPC can begin as Vice-Captain, although in the end, the Division’s Captain has final say.
  • A new Shinigami RPC cannot begin as a Visored. Becoming a Visored must be achieved in-character through either a DME or another RPC who is capable of forcing hollowfication.
  • A new Shinigami RPC can begin with Bankai.
  • A new Shinigami RPC cannot begin with Immense Spiritual Power, as it must be earned in-character.
  • If a Captain exists, you will need to get their approval to join their Division. If no Captain exists, you are welcome to join that Division and your character will take on whichever highest seat is available.

Dungeon Master Events: BAoH is an open-world role-play where character actions have consequences. This means that the overall story of the role-play can and will be affected by in-character decisions. With that said, there will also be Dungeon Master Events (DMEs) that will be led by an administrator to further enrich the setting by providing role-players with foundational storylines. Character decisions and actions within DMEs will shape the overall direction of these events. (Note that a DMs post during a DME is final and its consequences cannot be argued).
